The activity goes on in a decorated area where children can interact with small kits and small fabrics shaped as t-shirts, dresses, skirts and pants among others.
The March 15, 2015 , for the eighth consecutive year, UNICEF Race for Education was held for solidarity purposes in Palermo.
Ten thousand people ran with a double objective: to reach the goal and help thousands of teenagers across the country have access to quality secondary education .
With solidarity spirit, children and adults participated in the two circuits of the Race for Education UNICEF , competitive one of 10K and another one, participatory of 2K.
$ 2,625,000 were raised, which will be used to strengthen UNICEF projects for all adolescents to complete high school.

On November 16th the sixth solidary marathon edition took place in Palermo. A $300.000 fund was achieved, which will be destined to the new Oncology Centre in the Garrahan Hospital.
This year, the marathon was all about music. While walking through it, participants enjoyed different musical momentos. From classic music, tango from the 30s, 70s greatest hits, to a DJ playing techno music.
When the marathon finished, participants enjoyed a big show in the main stage were EL CHOQUE URBANO, a famous Argentinian band played live.
This band, is famous for representing with music, the particular sounds of different objects we use in our daily lives.
They mash up music, theatre and dance. Celebrities couldn't miss it either and were there supporting the event and presenting it. Thank you all for collaborating once more!
